Our Story
The Synthetic Oil Depot was founded in early 2017, by owner Trey Campo as a way to help other people protect their vehicles and other investments they spend a lot of money on. I was a long time user of AMSOIL synthetic oils and greases, as a preferred customer, in my lawn care business. I also used these products in my personal life as a career Firefighter / Paramedic, who lived on west coast and commuted to the East Coast for work.
I depended daily on my vehicles and equipment performing with no breakdowns. Whether it was my lawn and landscape equipment for business or my truck I used to drive from Washington state to Virginia for work. Breaking down was not an option.

In March of 2017, I knew my career as a Firefighter/Paramedic was winding down, so I opened the Synthetic Oil Depot. In 2019, after 22 years of service with the Fire Department, I retired. I also downsized my Grounds Maintenance company.
Along with running the Synthetic Oil Depot, I own a growing Dog Training business and a Pet Safety Education business with my wife. We use AMSOIL in all of our personal and company vehicles and also most of our employees use AMSOIL in their personal vehicles.
Life isn’t all about work, thankfully. Besides my wife, I have 3 daughters and 4 dogs to keep me busy. I enjoy being outdoors hunting, fishing and riding on our ATV, jet ski or boat. I Also enjoy working on a few restoration projects.
As you can see we use a wide selection of AMSOIL products in all our daily vehicles, equipment and toys. We love the protection and extended maintenance intervals we get for our vehicles and equipment.

Our family has a history of proud service in the military, Fire department, Police department and Sheriffs department. This includes volunteer and paid service. Unfortunately we’ve lost some people close to us recently and want to honor them and say thank you for your service to all these still protecting us.
