LEARNING CENTER / SEASONAL EQUIPMENT

Be ready when the season changes.

A short storage and return-to-service checklist helps you keep the details together. Use your equipment manual to decide the tasks, then gather the appropriate AMSOIL products before you need them.

AMSOIL Product line

What belongs on a seasonal checklist?

Identify the machine, engine and planned storage period. Find the manufacturer’s storage procedure and list the supplies it requires. Keep fuel preparation, lubrication, inspection and return-to-service tasks together so nothing depends on memory.

Record what you actually did

  • Equipment and engine model.
  • Storage preparation date.
  • Products used and the instructions followed.
  • Maintenance completed or still due.
  • Location of the manual and service record.
  • Return-to-service checks to complete before use.

Prepare fuel according to the instructions

Use the equipment manufacturer’s procedure and the selected treatment’s label. Confirm fuel compatibility, dosage and timing. Record the fuel quantity and treatment date. Browse gasoline additives for current product details.

Shop for the equipment coming next

Open the appropriate range: snowmobile, marine, ATV and UTV or small-engine and power-equipment products. Check each component rather than assuming the engine oil is the only service item.

Before the first outing or workday

Follow the manufacturer’s return-to-service procedure. Review any unfinished maintenance from the storage record and investigate leaks or operating problems before use. Update the service log when the machine is ready.

Build your seasonal product list

Tell Trey the machine, engine and whether you are preparing for storage or returning it to service. Those details help focus the product conversation.
