Consistent Clutch Feel
Poor Clutch performance or “feel” can prevent a motorcycle rider from riding the their bike at the highest performance levels. To keep their Motorcycles in the power band, Dirt Bike riders will manipulate the clutch increasing the opportunity for cutch slippage from low quality lubricants. AMSOIL Synthetic Dirt Bike Oil is designed with properties to help clutch slippage, fade and chatter. These clutch performance qualities were tested in a Race Start Simulation Test, where a rider simulated 32 race starts using AMSOIL Synthetic Dirt Bike Oil and then did the same Test with a leading OEM brand oil. The results of this test showed that AMSOIL Synthetic Dirt Bike oils delivered consistent clutch feel after all 32 Race Simulated starts and the OEM Oil developed inconsistent clutch action and poor feel after 16 Race Simulated starts.

The transmission parts can cause mechanical shear and the use of inferior oils leads to increased mechanical shear in motor oils.
